Dr Katie MaverDr Katie Maver is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor working in Nelson. She holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and is a full member of the New Zealand Skin Cancer Doctor Society. Katie grew up and went to medical school in Tasmania and worked in hospitals in Australia before moving to New Zealand in 2010 where she met her husband. Katie is passionate about skin cancer prevention, early skin cancer detection and minor surgery. Her happy place is at the beach with her hubby and kids.

Dr Arwen MohrDr Arwen Mohr is an American trained General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery. She is a US Board Certified Family Physician and she also holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. She moved to New Zealand in 2019 with her beautiful family and loves enjoying Nelson's great outdoors with her husband and kids. She is an avid runner and regularly takes to the hills for a long run.

Bridget WildSince graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2004, Bridget has worked predominantly in Primary Health Care as Hyperbaric, Urgent Care and Practice Nurse. Bridget enjoys working in Primary Health Care and is very excited to be
working alongside Dr Katie Maver and Dr Arwen Mohr again as their Skin Nurse. Bridget is passionate about providing quality care to patients and is looking forward to meeting you to discuss how we can help your skin needs at Nelson Skin Doctors. |
