Dr Tyler WhiteRaised on a dairy farm near Tapawera, Dr Tyler White is a General Practitioner with an interest in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy and minor skin surgery. He has completed the Advanced Certificate of Clinical Dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) and continues working towards attaining accreditation with the SCCA and Fellowship of the RNZCGP (Royal NZ College of GPs). Tyler believes that excellent skin cancer care combines careful clinical assessment, clear communication and a compassionate, patient-centred approach. He enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and working together to promote healthy skin and overall wellbeing, he has a special interest in the management of acne. Outside of medicine, Tyler enjoys powerlifting, mountain biking and spending time exploring the outdoors around the beautiful Nelson Tasman region.

Dr Katie MaverDr Katie Maver is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor working in Nelson. She holds Advanced Clinical Certificates in Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and is a full member of the New Zealand Skin Cancer Doctor Society. Katie grew up and went to medical school in Tasmania and worked in hospitals in Australia before moving to New Zealand in 2010 where she met her husband. Her happy place is at the beach with her hubby and kids.

Dr Oliver MadiganDr Oliver Madigan grew up on the Otago Peninsula and graduated from the Otago School of Medicine in 2008. Ollie has worked as a GP in Motueka since 2013 and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2015. Ollie developed an interest in skin cancer prevention, detection and management – both medical and surgical. In the past three years he has completed the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy (Skin Cancer College of Australiasia).

BridgetSince graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing in 2004, Bridget has worked predominantly in Primary Health Care as Hyperbaric, Urgent Care and Practice Nurse. Bridget enjoys working in Primary Health Care and is very excited to be
working alongside Dr Katie Maver and Dr Arwen Mohr again as their Skin Nurse. Bridget is passionate about providing quality care to patients and is looking forward to meeting you to discuss how we can help your skin needs at Nelson Skin Doctors. |

SallySally is an experienced nurse with many years of experience in the field of dermatology. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team and is always ready to provide sound advice and support to our patients.

At our front desk and behind the scenes you will find Amy and Caroline who are our organiser extraordinaires.
They always have a friendly smile and a warm greeting for everyone in contact with our clinic and are great at putting people at ease, answering enquiries, and finding appointment times to fit everyone's schedules.
Our Practice Manager Talana keeps everything running smoothly and can often be found supporting the team from the front desk.
