Happy 1st Birthday!

On the 19th of March celebrated our first birthday!  To mark this special occasion we closed the doors for a day team building which included spending the morning with the amazing Christen from Making Teams Work and an afternoon of scenario training with the delightful Nat from Resus Nelson.  It was great to spend the day together as a team and have the chance to catch-up as things have been getting busy!
In our first year we are stoked to have welcomed well over a thousand new patients through our doors and removed hundreds of skin cancers.   We are also really proud to be able to say that the vast majority of the melanomas we removed here in our first year were still in the insitu phase which means we are succeeding in our goal of catching melanomas early before they have a chance to spread and cause significant harm.  We're really proud of the work we are achieving here in Nelson and we owe a big thanks to our large community of supporters.
